9to9 Support

Need help with 9to9? You're in the right place.

Getting started

9to9 requires Apple's Screen Time permission to block the apps and websites you choose. On first launch, grant Screen Time access when prompted. This lets 9to9 apply Apple's built-in restrictions during the nightly 9 PM–9 AM quiet period.

You only need to select your distractions once. After that, the nightly routine runs automatically.

Apps aren't being blocked

If blocking doesn't seem to be working, check the following:

  1. Open 9to9 and confirm Screen Time access is still enabled in the app.
  2. Confirm the app or website you expect to be blocked is selected as a distraction.
  3. Confirm the current time falls within the 9 PM–9 AM quiet period.
  4. Restart 9to9 if the blocking state appears out of sync.
  5. If the issue continues, contact support using the email below.

Blocking depends on iOS and Screen Time, which Apple controls. In rare cases a system update or permission reset can interrupt the routine — re-granting Screen Time access usually resolves it.

Temporary access

When you genuinely need a blocked app or website, 9to9 offers a short way back in. Temporary access lifts the block for a limited period, after which blocking resumes automatically for the rest of the night. It's designed for real needs, not for restarting a scrolling session.

Subscription and billing

Subscriptions and free trials are managed through your Apple ID and the App Store. 9to9 cannot cancel, refund, or modify a subscription on your behalf — those actions happen on Apple's side.

To view, change, or cancel a subscription, follow Apple's instructions: View, change, or cancel your subscriptions.
