Terms of Use

Last updated: August 21, 2026

These Terms of Use govern your use of 9to9. By downloading or using 9to9, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.

Acceptance

Using 9to9 means you accept these Terms. If you are using 9to9 on behalf of someone else, you confirm that you have permission to do so and to accept these terms on their behalf.

Service

9to9 uses supported iOS capabilities — including Apple's Screen Time / Family Controls APIs — to help you restrict selected apps and websites during its nightly 9 PM–9 AM quiet period. You choose what to block; 9to9 applies the restriction through iOS.

Blocking depends on iOS, Screen Time permissions, and system behavior. 9to9 cannot guarantee that blocking will never be interrupted, delayed, or affected by changes outside its control, such as iOS updates or permission resets.

App Store and Apple

9to9 is distributed through Apple's App Store, and purchases and subscriptions are subject to Apple's applicable terms. These website Terms do not replace Apple's mandatory terms. Where Apple's standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement applies to your use of the app, that agreement governs your use of the licensed application. You can review it at Apple's Standard EULA.

Subscription

9to9 is offered as an annual subscription. A free trial may be available. Payment is handled by Apple through the App Store; 9to9 does not process your payment details directly.

  • After any free trial, the subscription renews automatically unless cancelled, following Apple's subscription rules.
  • You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time through your Apple ID / App Store subscription settings.
  • Prices and trial availability are shown before you purchase and may change; the price you accept at purchase is the price that applies to your subscription until renewal.

Refunds are handled by Apple according to its policies. 9to9 cannot issue refunds or override Apple's subscription or refund decisions.

Availability

9to9's functionality depends on iOS, Screen Time permissions, device compatibility, and system behavior. Features may change, be limited, or be unavailable as a result of updates to iOS or to Apple's APIs. We may update, change, or discontinue features at any time.

Acceptable use

You agree to use 9to9 for its intended purpose and not to misuse, reverse engineer, or attempt to bypass its restrictions or Apple's system capabilities in ways that violate applicable law or these Terms.

Intellectual property

9to9's software, branding, design, and content remain owned by their applicable owner. You receive a limited, personal, non-transferable right to use the app as provided through the App Store, subject to Apple's terms and these Terms.

Disclaimer

9to9 is provided "as available." While we work to keep it reliable, we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. Blocking depends on iOS and Screen Time, which are outside our control.

Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, the owner of 9to9 is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, 9to9. Any liability is limited to the maximum extent permitted by applicable law.

Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of 9to9 after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
